Rubio, Casey Applaud Senate Passage of National Catholic Schools Week Resolution

Catholic schools produce strong believers who foster strong communities. They provide students with quality religious education that supports, rather than undermines, their deeply held values and honors parents’ central role in their children’s education.

U.S. Senators Marco Rubio (R-FL) and Bob Casey (D-PA) applauded the Senate’s passage of their resolution designating January 28-February 2, 2024, as “National Catholic Schools Week” and celebrating the 50th annual “National Catholic Schools Week.” Representative Darin LaHood (R-IL) introduced a companion resolution in the House.
