Rubio Introduces Bill to Reauthorize Hong Kong Human Rights Democracy Act

Jun 5, 2024 | Press Releases

The Chinese Communist Party and Hong Kong government officials are responsible for the continued erosion of Hong Kong’s autonomy and an increase of human rights violations.

The Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act, which U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) led and was signed into law in 2019, is set to expire later this year.
