Senator Rubio Hails Passage Of The JOBS Act
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) issued the following statement regarding his support for H.R. 3606, the Jumpstarting Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act, which passed the Senate today, passed the House several weeks ago and is now one step closer to the President’s desk:
“Since December of last year, I have been trying to work on getting the AGREE Act, our bipartisan jobs bill, moving. So the fact that we are moving on a bipartisan jobs bill today in the Senate is welcomed good news at a time where there is so much bickering in the process.
“There are plenty of issues Republicans and Democrats are going to disagree on going forward. But at least on this issue of jobs, there is a positive development, and I think that is a very good thing and very good news for the people back home.”
