Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) released a statement regarding ongoing efforts in the United States Senate to cobble together an immigration bill.
“We should prioritize the most urgent problems facing Americans first,” Rubio said. “More vaccines, COVID relief, policies that will help create good American jobs and confronting the threat from China are all more important right now than immigration reform. Once these have been addressed we should modernize our immigration laws, but not with blanket amnesty.”

“Debemos priorizar los problemas más urgentes que enfrentan los estadounidenses primero”, Rubio dijo. “Más vacunas, ayuda para combatir el COVID, políticas que ayudarán a crear buenos empleos en EE.UU. y enfrentar la amenaza de China son temas más importantes en este momento que la reforma migratoria.
