Rubio Names Scotlynn USA as the Senate Small Business of the Week
Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, named Scotlynn USA Division, Inc. of Fort Myers, FL as the U.S. Senate Small Business of the Week.

“I’m Marco Rubio, Chairman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, and today I am honored to recognize Scotlynn USA Division, Inc. of Fort Myers Florida, as the Senate Small Business of the Week.
“For over a decade, they’ve provided trucking services and logistical support for farmers throughout the state of Florida.
“Their entrepreneurship is recognized by local and industry organizations.
“Additionally, the U.S. Small Business Administration named owner & founder Ryan Carter as the 2020 Florida Small Business Person of the Year.
“Like many of Florida’s small businesses, Scotlynn USA stepped up to help its community combat the coronavirus pandemic.
“They raised funds and distributed thousands of meals with Feeding America and volunteered along with other local organizations.
“And earlier this year, Scotlynn USA was approved for a Paycheck Protection Program loan.
“As a result, they were able to keep 214 employees on their payroll and continue their critical work of keeping our nation fed.
“Congratulations to the entire team at Scotlynn USA!
“I look forward to your continued success and innovation.”
