Surfside, FL — U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) met with local officials following the horrific, partial collapse of Champlain Towers South, including Miami-Dade County Mayor Daniella Levine-Cava, Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis, Miami-Dade County Fire Chief Alan Cominsky, Bal Harbour Mayor Gabriel Groisman, and Miami-Dade County Commissioners Oliver Gilbert and José “Pepe” Diaz. Rubio also thanked first responders and Red Cross volunteers.
 
Rubio reiterated that his office is at the family reunification center to provide assistance with obtaining humanitarian visas for their loved ones who need to travel to the U.S. He and U.S. Representative Debbie Wasserman-Schultz also pledged to support whatever federal resources necessary to assist with ongoing rescue efforts. 

RUBIO SE REÚNE CON PERSONAL DE PRIMEROS AUXILIOS, VOLUNTARIOS Y FUNCIONARIOS LOCALES EN CHAMPLAIN TOWERS

Surfside, FL — El senador estadounidense Marco Rubio (R-FL) se reunió con funcionarios locales tras el terrible colapso parcial de la Torre Champlain Sur. Rubio habló con la alcaldesa del condado de Miami-Dade, Daniella Levine-Cava, el director financiero de la Florida Jimmy Patronis, el jefe de los bomberos del condado Miami-Dade, Alan Cominsky, el alcalde de Bal Harbour, Gabriel Groisman, y los comisionados del condado de Miami-Dade, Oliver Gilbert y José “Pepe” Díaz. Rubio también agradeció a los socorristas y voluntarios de la Cruz Roja.
 
Rubio reiteró que su oficina está en el centro de reunificación familiar para brindar asistencia con la obtención de visas humanitarias para los seres queridos que necesitan viajar a  EE.UU. Él y la representante Debbie Wasserman-Schultz también se comprometieron a apoyar todos los recursos federales necesarios para ayudar con los esfuerzos en curso.
