Washington, D.C. – In today’s seventh installment of Marco’s Constituent Mail Box video series, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio responds to a letter from a Florida constituent asking why Congress is taking an August recess at a time of high unemployment and economic uncertainty.

In this letter, Diane in Boynton Beach wrote, “Vacation?  You’ve got to be kidding me.  Why are you going on a five week vacation when you have not even done anything regarding jobs and the economy? When are you going to address these issues?”

Each week, Senator Rubio receives thousands of letters, emails and phone calls from Floridians voicing their opinions. Through this video series, Rubio will regularly respond to a selection of constituent letters on various topics.
