English/ Español: Rubio Says Biden Administration to Blame for Border Crisis
Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) released a video message addressing the ongoing humanitarian crisis at the border. A broadcast quality video is available in English and Spanish and a transcription is below.
ENGLISH:
“Well, what we have at the border is a calamity, a humanitarian calamity, and a predictable one. The Biden administration created this crisis. They basically put out word that people were going to be able to come in. Even if they now say, ‘Come, just don’t come now,’ that doesn’t work, people hear that message, they’re desperate and they come. They fall into the hands of these evil trafficking networks that in many cases abuse on them and leave them behind on this journey. And they’re incentivized to bring children. And now we have a calamity that’s growing by the moment and by the day. It’s horrifying. And the blame falls squarely on the shoulders of the Biden Administration.”
