Washington, D.C. — Today, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) applauded the United States Supreme Court’s 7–2 decision in American Legion v. American Humanist Association upholding that the 40-foot Peace Cross, a World War I memorial that has stood on public land in Bladensburg, MD for nearly 100 years, does not violate the First Amendment.
