MONDAY: Rubio Hosts Child Tax Credit Roundtable in Pensacola
Miami, FL – This Monday, at approximately 10:15 am CDT, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) will host a roundtable at Imagination Station to discuss how the enhanced child tax credit is helping Pensacola families.
Since 2014, Rubio has pushed for an enhanced child tax credit to help working and middle-class American families. Standing up to his own party’s leadership during tax reform, Rubio won provisions in the tax bill that doubled the per-child tax credit to $2,000 and increased the refundable portion of the credit to $1,400, which will increase with inflation each year until the full $2,000 applies per child. Rubio’s efforts help more than 90 million families.
