2023

Despite Washington gridlock, Senator Rubio continued to get things done for the country and for Florida, passing bills to expand care for veterans’ families, strengthen our space program,protect international ports from terrorists, and more. His award-winning federal casework team closed over 22,000 new cases. The case subjects ranged from Social Security and Medicare to veterans benefits and passport services. 

2022

More than a dozen Rubio bills became law in 2022, including the Honoring Our Promise to Address Comprehensive Toxics (PACT) Act, which provides veterans the health care benefits they earned. The nonpartisan Center for Effective Lawmaking ranked Rubio the third most effective senator overall and the most effective Republican on international affairs and environmental issues.

2021

Six Rubio bills became law in 2021, including the Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act, which represents one of the most significant changes in America’s trade relationship with China in decades. That’s why the nonpartisan Center for Effective Lawmaking ranked Rubio as the most effective Republican senator.

2020

More than 20 Rubio bills became law in 2020, including the Paycheck Protection Program, which provided $800 billion to protect small businesses and employees from devastating economic lockdowns. A nonpartisan analysis produced by GovTrack ranked Rubio as the second top leader in the Senate.

2019

Nine Rubio bills became law in 2019, including the Hong Kong Human Rights and Democracy Act and authorization of record levels of funding for water infrastructure and ecosystem protection projects for the Everglades. A nonpartisan analysis produced by GovTrack ranked Rubio as the second top leader in the Senate.

2017-2018

Rubio achieved major policy victories during the 115th Congress, including the doubling of the Child Tax Credit and passage of new laws to protect veterans, students, and the environment. A nonpartisan analysis produced by GovTrack ranked Rubio fifth overall in Senate leadership and sixth in bipartisan support for his bills.
