Media Advisory: Thursday: Rubio Chairs Hearing on the Coronavirus and America’s Small Business Supply Chain

Washington D.C. On Thursday, March 12, 2020, U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL), Chairman of the Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship, will convene a hearing titled, “The Coronavirus and America’s Small Business Supply Chain.”
 
The hearing will be live-streamed on the committee’s website here.

The hearing will focus on the short-term effect on small businesses impacted by the coronavirus as well as the long-run deficiencies and vulnerabilities detected in the domestic supply chain due to the over-reliance on China for critical industry sectors. The Committee will also examine the role small businesses can play in expanding the capacity of the supply chain and what policy solutions may be needed to bolster small businesses’ position globally.
