The hearing will focus on the short-term effect on small businesses impacted by the coronavirus as well as the long-run deficiencies and vulnerabilities detected in the domestic supply chain due to the over-reliance on China for critical industry sectors. The Committee will also examine the role small businesses can play in expanding the capacity of the supply chain and what policy solutions may be needed to bolster small businesses’ position globally.
