Rubio Applauds OAS Vote to Suspend Undemocratic Maduro Regime
Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) released the following statement applauding the Organization of American States’ (OAS) vote to suspend Venezuela, which is controlled by the illegitimate Maduro regime:
“Yesterday, a majority of the OAS members stood with the Venezuelan people and voted in support of democracy and justice. I applaud these nations that voted for the regime’s suspension, and urge for further action to isolate the illegitimate rulers in Caracas. This is another warning for Maduro and his cronies that their days in power are numbered. I look forward to the day a democratic Venezuela is welcomed at the OAS.”
