Washington, D.C. – U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) will be chairing two Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearings tomorrow, July 15. The first – in the Subcommittee on Western Hemisphere, Transnational Crime, Civilian Security, Democracy, Human Rights and Global Women’s Issues – will review U.S. policy towards Haiti prior to their August elections. The second – in the full Senate Foreign Relations Committee – will consider the four pending nominations of U.S. ambassadors to Haiti, Guyana, Mexico and Nicaragua.
