Photo Release: Rubio Attends Grand Opening of Valencia Way
Jacksonville, FL — U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) attended the grand opening of Valencia Way, formerly Eureka Gardens, a federally contracted housing complex under U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD) Section 8 Project-Based Rental Assistance (PBRA) program. Rubio spearheaded the efforts to rehabilitate the property after it was run into the ground by slumlords. After the grand opening ceremony and ribbon cutting, Rubio spoke with members of the press and toured the rehabilitated property.
