Rubio Continues Irma Recovery Efforts in Orange, Hendry and Highlands Counties as Staff Helps Floridians in St. Augustine
U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) today continued to help lead Hurricane Irma recovery efforts, taking part in a discussion with Florida agricultural leaders, Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Adam Putnam and U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue in Hendry County. Rubio also surveyed hurricane damage by helicopter in Orange County and visited XL Ranch in Highlands County.
Meanwhile, Rubio’s staff hosted a recovery assistance center in St. Augustine, helping hundreds of Floridians obtain hurricane recovery assistance. Staff will host a recovery assistance center in Jacksonville tomorrow, and centers in Naples, Fort Myers, and Immokalee later this week.
