Rubio Highlights Importance of Supporting Aid to Puerto Rico

Washington, D.C. — U.S. Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) released the following statement highlighting the need for Republicans and Democrats to unite in support of the current disaster bill and funding for Puerto Rico:  


“I remain committed to securing funds to ensure the continued recovery of our fellow Americans in Puerto Rico after the devastating 2017 hurricane season,” Rubio said. “Now is not the time to play political games. Republicans and Democrats must unite in support of the current disaster bill, which will benefit the island.”

RUBIO RECALCA LA IMPORTANCIA DE APOYAR LA AYUDA PARA PUERTO RICO

Washington, D.C. — El senador estadounidense Marco Rubio (R-FL), emitió el siguiente comunicado sobre la necesidad de tanto los republicanos como los demócratas se unan en apoyo a la legislación de desastres y en apoyo fondos para Puerto Rico:  

“Sigo comprometido en asegurar fondos para la recuperación de Puerto Rico y de nuestros compatriotas americanos después de la devastadora temporada de huracanes en el 2017,” Rubio dijo. “No es hora para juegos políticos. Tanto los republicanos como los demócratas tenemos que unirnos en apoyo a la legislación de desastres, la cual beneficiará la isla.”
